Hi, my name is Jon, I am 41, single and a metal detectorholic. I started metal detecting back in 1980 and you can read a bit about my first machines here. My current detector is a Garrett GTI-1500 which I bought a couple of years ago. I also recently joined a local club and go on club organised digs, usually every Sunday. You can see some of my recent finds here. Being a computer programmer as well, I have also started to write a database to organise my finds. Version 1.1 of the program is now available and it can be download here. If you have already downloaded version 1.1, please also read this page as it contains a patch which may affect you.
